Spanish Cedar Heel | Classical Guitar
Spanish cedar (Cedrela odorata), also known as Honduran or Brazilian cedar, combines a great relation between lightness and stiffness, which makes it perfect for guitar necks, with an approximate density of only 450kg/m3.
We have carefully selected the finest quality cedar necks from our stock. These necks and heels are quarter-sawn and naturally dried for approximately 10 years, which allows them to be used straight away.
At the same time, we are now putting on sale 7 super high-quality laminated cedar necks in our workshop, coming from furniture leftover boards imported from Brazil 40 years ago. These come from old trees, with tighter grain, slightly heavier, and amazing tap tone.
