Brazilian Rosewood Fingerboard E4 (+200 years old) | 7 Strings Electric Guitar
This Brazilian rosewood was salvaged from a late 18th century furniture.
There is some history behind this piece of wood. The Queen of Portugal Maria I (1734-1816) has developed the furniture style in her name, inspired in the finest British furniture makers and the French movement Rocaille. This represents the neoclassical period in Portugal and Brazil. This style of furniture was made by the finest woodworkers during the 18th and 19th centuries, all the original were made in solid Brazilian rosewood with satinwood inlays as symbols of happiness and love. Mahogany replicas were made in the late 19th century until early-mid the 20th century.
