We had just this one board that we have cut
recently into sets, due to the major cracks and holes very few sets came out
for dreadnought, OM and classical guitar.
The sets were quarter sawn cut; many say that this is the Brazilian rosewood
finest quality, coming from a slow growth old tree. One can see very tight and
straight grain with very dark colour that after finish turn black. The darkest
kind of Brazilian rosewood is the most resonant, more stiff and heavy. This
will produce the world’s finest guitars!
This quality don’t come out every day, enjoy!

Notes:
Not wood enough for full backs? Adding a central piece it is a great and wise choice
to give a unique look to the guitar and the sound will be there. There’s tiny
worm holes in the edges of the sides, most outside the template that can easily
be covered with saw dust and glue, it will be black on black, it will be almost
impossible to notice. Sometimes when the wood is so old and quality so high we
might be willing to accept and work out little imperfections that nature
present us.
