This particular piece you are seeing was salvaged from original Queen Dona Maria II style furniture from the 18^th century; it is estimated to be more than 200 years old. As far we get closer to the virgin forest harvest - the older the trees are, with much more annual rings, the density is higher as it is the resonance. This means this is the highest quality of this almost extinct species Dalbergia nigra CITES certified.
