100 Years Old Cuban Mahogany Acoustic Guitar Back and Sides Set #8

Cuban mahogany is the only true mahogany and the one that holds in its botanical name “mahagoni”, all the other mahoganies are close or far relatives. Swietenia mahagoni is amazing in all ways, it works well by hand or machines. The texture is silky and has a pleasant scent. It is known by the King of mahoganies with unique acoustic properties.
We had the chance to cut very few sets for acoustic, OM and parlour guitar that are available now. These boards come from a 3 generation furniture maker’s craftsman that started by the end of the 19^th century and closed the workshop in 1974. So, the age of this left over boards are between these dates, we estimate around 100 years old. Enjoy!
